Introducing Peter Schumacher, Singularity's new COO

Peter joins Singularity Defense from AE Industrial Partners, where he spent more than a decade investing in and overseeing the growth of leading aerospace, defense, and industrial technology companies. He previously served as interim Chief Executive Officer of Firefly Aerospace, helping lead the company through a pivotal period that culminated in its first successful orbital launch. Earlier in his career, Schumacher spent a decade with GE Aviation, where he held a range of engineering and leadership positions, and began his career as a mechanical engineer at Orbital Sciences, contributing to the U.S. Navy's GQM-163A supersonic target missile program.

The appointment comes as Singularity enters its next stage of growth following its July emergence from stealth, recent major contract wins, and increasing demand from defense customers seeking next-generation autonomous capabilities at scale.
