During World War II, ordinary people built something extraordinary. Not for profit. For survival.

The Luftwaffe and Japanese air forces were relentless, capable of decimating militaries like at Pearl Harbor and of leveling cities. This air power was unprecedented. It threatened tens of millions of lives and the survival of democracy. In less than five years, Western engineers changed that. They built over half a million air defense guns with quadruple the rate of fire, invented and deployed the proximity fuze, and achieved what seemed impossible: clear skies.

Our grandparents built their way out of existential threat, but they wouldn’t recognize our world today. As military technology evolves, our children will inherit a world more dangerous than any before them.

In 1958, a Manhattan Project scientist named John von Neumann described this moment as the Singularity: the point at which technological acceleration makes society unrecognizable. His prediction has become reality. Adversaries are rearming at a pace not seen since WWII, and the weapons they build are different now: inexpensive, mass-produced, and lethally intelligent.

The gap between offensive capability and defensive coverage is widening. Countless lives are being lost in it. The world desperately needs a historic volume of air defense. There is no more critical technology today.

Singularity exists to answer that call.
